Ribbon mixer consists of horizontal shaft, mixing elements and a cylindrical vessel body. The mixing elements can be ploughs or paddles. It always has several feeding ports, one vent port, a central discharging valve at bottom, two flanged end plates, adjusted integrated seal assembly for main shaft and driving system.
Outer ribbon pushes materials from two ends to the middle and inner ribbon moves material from middle to two ends. The convection movement will be created in short time.
Material characteristics and uniformity can be guaranteed even if the material needs long time for discharging. Batch difference will never be a problem after this mixing.
